Basic strategy is to outflank your opponent using decoys & camouflage. Attitude i'd say would be very patient. Technique.. yup.. gapang.

Depends what playtype your in. Assault, marksman, sniper, radioman, medic, heavy machine gun support... etc.

Different tactics are used for each.

In a Hostile area, CQB or Jungle warfare- Not just gapang ng gapang.. use your BDU in a proper technique you have to blend to your suroundings, weapons, tactics etc..

ako tago sa mga bushes... kahit na nakatayo ako hindi ako kita kasi mataas pa sa akin yung mga bushes... tapos masid masid kung walang kalaban pwedeng gapang o kaya lakad lang ng nakaupo hanggang sa mga matataas na bushes ulit at masid masid ulit hanggang may makita ka na kalaban.... :)

blend with the field (BDU), if available have a buddy buddy system. attitude= patience, you may hit one but others will caught you, mas masarap feeling pag naka knife kill ka. technique = speed (shoot then move), go with the flow make use of your surroundings, like airplane passing above move ka agad.

Jungle= When in recon, dont stare at your enemy too long or else he'll look back at you and your cover is blown. It's the human's sixth sense. Have you caught somebody looking or staring at you? We'll that's sixth sense.

CQB= You need to move fast. Carrying a short primary weapon is an advantage when clearing rooms. When hiding in a door way always hide your muzzle or else your giving away your position.

well , my answer to that is TECHNIQUE coz ATTITUDE wont SAVE
YOU not to get HIT!!!

and this technique comes with system, practice, training and lastly SKILLS!!! but of course plus your good BDU camoflauge
if you dont have such things!! YOU ARE DEAD!!!

Remember what happened in BASILAN lately???
marines and armies are dying for fighting with ABU's
and take note!! some of them are well trained and came fresh from P.M.A.
and wearing camoflauge...
some of their comrades said that they were one of the BEST!!!

What went wrong???
they are lacked of training and skills and not familiar with the terrain and the area.
These young soldiers are FRESH graduates... and have not tried shooting someone or worst killing somebody yet...

jungle: IMO, shooting and moving to a different position is quite effective

Know the terrain, take the hardest possible route to the objective so you will have the element of surprise, achieve the objective, leave and call it a day.

study the arena before hand, take note of good flanking areas as well as hiding places. Generally higher bunker positions are optimal for scouting and cover fire... So all in all Technique and Familiarity are top on the list, add to that your familiarization on your guns capability like range velocity...

Hit the enemy while they are least expected...Apo signature attack:) We go through the most inhospitable terrain and try to blend with the jungle.

Then hit hard.

Plan 3 or more steps ahead, use discipline and concealment, manuever as often, surprise and fire superiority but when you do make your move, be decisive.

By the way planning includes reconnaisance and sound intelligence gathering tactics. When you plan based on solid intelligence, half the battle is already won.
