LAM as in Laser Aiming Module ?? have u seen ung LAM sa grips ?usually on glocks ko nakita un.. anong advantage and disadvantage nun?

Well, for starters, the grip-mounted laser would not require another holster (same holster can be used). ;), it has a separate power switch that prolongs battery life when not in use, the activation switch is unobtrusive; etc.

CTC (http://www.crimsontrace.com/) has models for almost all pistols (acps & revolvers); front & rear activation models that work well even with gloves.

There are models too for the M4/M16 grip (can't find the pix) but recent new lasers are in the carry handle or the front-grip.
