May i ask what's in a bore up kit?

Systema was the first to introduce bore-up. When I first got into airsoft, systema was the only brand making this kit. My airsoft buddy/ gunsmith warned me not to buy bore ups. To this day I still agree with him, never believed in its performance-cost ratio, but of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

True, but even with sp150 or stronger springs I still prefer standard bore. The best example is a tm ak47, using stock cylinder modified to emulate type1/ stock cylinder head, ported stock piston head, upgraded nozzle - nag 570+fps on the 150. Piston is deepfire halftooth plus guarder infinite.

Although the cylinder bore is larger, the problem are the other parts.
Di ko lang gusto ang design ng piston head/ cylinder head ng bore up. Labas kaagad yung hangin due to bigger orifice/ larger vortex. Maximum air pressure is not reached compared to stock internal measurements sir.
