diy suppresor/silencer and scope sunshade

hello sir's

this will be my first post here at the DIY corner first things first... sorry for the poor quality pics.. i only had my cam phone with me kasi..

materials to be used on this project
1. siltite glass sealant tube(complete parts)
2. sand paper
3. knife(no fancy tools were use on this project)
4.foam or hard foam

this is my own version of a diy working(somehow) supressor silencer(sorry i do not really know whats the right word to be used) and a sunshade

i was only intrested on making a DIY scope sunshade for my tasco red dot scope

but then theres this 5 inch tube i noticed to be of good use.

now lets start with the silencer/suppressor
heres the tube i used its from siltite glass sealant.. i saw this a while ago somewhere in our house.... eheheheh

the tube(sorry i was already able to cut it before i thought of posting it here).. so what did i did..

remove this part its inside the tube its purpose is to push the sealant oin top of the tube but now it will be of good use

1. shove off the tiny bits of plastic from the cutting process by sanding it

2. cut this part

so it will be like this

3. enlarge the hole using a knife(y knife?) do this with care not to enlarge the hole so much... dapat naka lihis or slant ng konti ang knife

4. fit it to your muzzle to have the thread

the knife is use because we needed to have a thread at the hole like this

5. place the foam inside the tube(i prefer to use hard foam)

6. now lets do the work on the cap thing.... dril a hole in it to make it look like this one

and place it at the other end of the tube(the open side)

6. now heres the product a 5 inch suppressor/silencer

now lets go to the sunshade diy

1. ive cut 3 inch from the original lenght of the siltite glass sealant tube

2. and shaped it like this one

using the knife

3. sanded the sharp edges to make a good match with the round profile of the red dot scope

4.fit it onto the scope

as subtitute to the siltite tube ive use; you may use pvc pipes available in the hardware.. but siltite tube really does the job here you can find a empty tube at any glass and aluminum supply shop. they just throw this tube so i thought of recycling it look at the sign on the top of the tube on the lower right hand corner is a small triangle indicating the "please recycle sign"

tube sir from SILTITE glass sealant tube sir... nakita ko sa toolbox namin kanina eh natuyo na yung silicone sealant sa loob tatapon ko na sana ng maisip kong gawan ng sun shade yung red dot ko.. eheheheheh

kung my malapit sainyong aluminum and glass supply meron sila nito for sure.. ginagamit yung laman pang seal ng salamin sa mga aluminum fixtures.... and also dating gamit ko pang seal ng hop up.. ehehehehe

Hmmm! not bad ey!nag mukhang ACOG a!pero yung baril parang Dalawang malaking flash light may high beam at low beam bk akalain nila nakamotor ka!!hehehe!!!joke3x over all galing sir seal010,better than the disposable tissue cone supressor.advantage lng nun tissue cone may tissue ka na pag natatae ka sa gamesite....hehehehehe!!! may DIY land mine ka pa.....

kelangan may donut foam ka sa loob or any solid stuff to prevent vibration of the barrel inside, and to keep it in the center especially if your barrel reaches only half of the tube. or tatamaan mo tung takip ng supressor mo or worst sasama pati supressor mo, pero not a bad thing ksi para ka nang naka RPG!!!!hehehehe!!!!joke3x

@sir suave= nakow naman sir kaw tlaga.. salamat anyway... uu nga nu magandang idea.. wat if ilagay ko yung laser pointer sa loob mismo ng diy? ehehehe tapos yung pressure swicth ang susunod na problema.. wahihihi you gave me something to think off...

@008= i'll try it bukas sa ak... as you know extended si rhia... kaya ayun 2inch lang clearance ang nasubukan ko.....

@003= tipid mode.. ahihihi ala lang magawa kanina sir.. ehehh... kaya ayun isip ng kung anu anung pwedeng gawin.... tapos yan ang lumabas... nainspire ako dun sa pinost mo sa thread na scope ehh kaya hayan ohh... galaw galaw ng konti and tingin ng ibang design ng sun shade tapos. boom yan na...

ive tried kanina to fire some shots na wala yung cap and foam sa loob ang result.. halimaw na tunog.. ingay na hinde ko gusto.. ehehehehe.. tapos balik laht ng part and every thing went well naman with mine..

about the cap issue for sure hinde malalaglag, coz fit na fit sya sa loob ng tube.... maliban nalang kung tamaan siguro ng bb's.. havent tried firing bb's eheheh

although ang balak ko lang muna talagang ilagay ke rhia is the sunshade...

pwede i've made mine with a spare aluminum mt.bike seat post, cut the thread of a flash hider into two.and snugly fitted it on both ends with epoxy steel glue, but before that I cut a foam 3'' wide 1/2'' thick and 5'' long, wrap it around a stock piston spring and slide it inside the tube. WALLA!!! a working DIY 6'' aluminum supressor.

materials:
aluminum tube 6'' long 1 1/4'' thick
m4 flash hider
foam
used piston spring
epoxy glue
steel file and sand paper for fitting and finishing touches....

next isusunod ko na yung frame ng mountain bike masmakapal yung aluminum e hehehe!!joke!!!

the flash hider could also be use para hinde ka na mamroblema sa threading idikit mo nalang using epoxy.. ihihihi

pero as ive said no fancy tools are use in this project...

para siguradong walang bara... try to use an aluminum rod or barrel slightly larger than the bore of the inner barrel... drill holes on it para suppressed parin tunog and absorbed by the foam... just a thought...:icon_smile:

Hmm!pwede, I have a madbull dummy supressor na ang bigat na wala pa foam ala pa butas in short ala wenta! kunyari lng,only purpose is takpan extended barrel. pogi points lng panlabas. just a short review tutal supressor nmn topic.
