anyone has any experience with these two brand's revolvers? Please share your comments. My experience with my marushin S&W M60 3" silver: Looks good and realistic, feels like metal (its not), nice removable shells, accuracy sucks as the bbs seems to fly sideways (to the left) rather frequently. I keep it for display only and rarely fires it as 8mm bbs are not commonly used in airsoft.

No complaints from this end :D as I find both brands pretty workable & friendly.
Though my tanaka is limited to two SAA .45 revolvers (western style) and the P8, I find the gbb P8 better than the usp .45 (another brand) that came out later. The P8, flat finish, is supposedly a 9mm real steel version and yet is heavier.

The SAAs have great gas retention, 3 mos unused and there's still sufficient gas for probably 6 rds.

civilian & cavalry models
With the marushins, the only 6mm I have is a derringer that loads 2 rds and a 1892 Winchester that realistically loads ammo on the receiver's right.

The 8mm versions are anaconda 8in and the taurus raging bull 8in revolvers (comes with steel top rails with rigid grips) for which I bought 3 boxes of spare shells. 'Having 6 shells only is pretty tedious and disrupts the mood. My son says real steel quick reloaders do not work while I've haven't had success in making plastic strip reloaders.

Reloading works pretty well though while having coffee and smoking. :D
Since these are NBBs, the .43 bbs pack considerable fps to slit open coke cans that another son had to send me a sack of coke cans from his wife's resto. :D

third can is with a second shot from +/- 30 ft
Same with the NBBs, I am happy too with fps of the US M1 Carbine. Over 350fps on r134 and still unrated on green gas that is safe to use even with a stock weap. 'Had two probs with the mags thoughhad a leak with an o ring displaced but since the mag did not need special tools, no prob. It was probably caused by green gas pressure as a friend had the overpressure release valve sealed when I traded my 6mm with his 8mm version.

'Have to send money with order for a spare mag :D so the gun runner will try harder to look for a spare mag:D:D
Marushin GBB? I have the .45 TRP model, works good but needs more fps and the finish flattened. The weight is not as realistic when compared to the WA Striker Standard that quite resembles the TRP.

striker & TRP
Inspite of this gbb handicap and the "toyish" impression though, I ordered the FN 5-7, 8mm ver. :D

 Wow. It appears you have lots of experience with those guns. Sir, where can I get a Marushin Colt Anaconda or Raging Bull? I've been looking for those guns for over a year now but I couldn't find them anywhere. Sir, are these guns green gas ready? How about tanaka's revolver's?

Sometimes, Redwolf Airsoft says, gbbs/revolvers (nbbs) are green gas ready and I do not know what their exact basis / duration is in saying so. Saying NBBs do not have moving parts may justify green gas but o rings (do not move) but can be dislodged by pressure.
My experience says also that metal slides will not break using green gas maybe correct but the GBB has other plastic parts and the most likely to break is the plastic loading nozzle.
Anyhow, mags or revolvers (nbbs) with over-pressure release valve can be said to be safe with green gas, i.e., the excess gas is expelled.
The revolvers that followed or came out as about the same time the raging bull have over-pressure release valves and thus green gas maybe loaded into the gas chamber/tank. The Anaconda came earlier than the raging bull and thus does not have an over-pressure release valve.
Tanaka revolvers do not have over-pressure release valves. 'Not sure though of their newer inventory.
I bought most of these stuff from airsoft philippines at the time the model is barely a month (or two) old introduced in the market and thus 90% available in the shop. These revolvers are aged now and may not be carried as regular inventory of the shops but I am sure these can be ordered through the shops or via gun runners.
Er, unless you have big hands, do not buy the 9-in anaconda, raging bull & other models for skirmishing. The 6-in models is more appropriate.

:( that's too bad. No wonder I couldn't find them anymore. If only I had enough money back then...
