Default safety sear problem

Hi. I have a custom bolt handle installed on my Bar10/Kar98 hybrid and i occasionally have problems with the safety sear. Sometimes, it doesn't pop back up enough so i can't pull the trigger. Is it safe to sand this piece down or to remove it all together? How can i fix the problem? Does edgi make a replacement?

It's this piece:

it was sear problem, sear doesn't locked up the piston... try to check the reversal spring that holds the sear, align it properly.. or your bar10 sear is already deformed

doc, you could remove the piece all together but there is a chance of premature firing while cocking if the trigger is accidentally pressed...which is remote anyways because you are right handed....

try also looking at the engagement notch between the modified handle and the sear...there is a big tendency that the handle is leaving it depressed...and that is the reason that you cannot pull the trigger

try also to replace the spring it must not be popping as designed... txt or call so we could discuss lengthly..

Thanks, little_1! I ended up cutting a groove in the modified bolt handle for the sear to pop into.
